## Why Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi is part of a major South Texas freight network centered around maritime commerce, regional highways, energy, agriculture and international trade connections.

TxDOT identifies SH 44 as an important freight connection between Corpus Christi and Laredo.

Texas has also studied truck-parking needs statewide, including the Corpus Christi district.
